Well, it's been pretty quiet for the last few months (some moderate snow and rain/flooding plus work as usual). I went out on a week-long pair trawl trip for herring and mackeral and landed in New Bedford, Massachusetts on Thursday night. I spent most of Friday getting back to Wildwood where I live and got there just in time to experience the mother of a blizzard that hit over the weekend. There was heavy falling snow and 40 mph winds creating whiteout conditions. I woke up briefly Saturday morning at 5:30 and my power was out; it was still out when I woke up for good at about 8:30. I had to evacuate my apartment last night and drive up to my parent's house because of the major coastal storm that is hammering the Atlantic coast. I live on the barrier island of Wildwood, NJ and we experienced ridiculous flooding. I live on the western part near the back bay (where the worst flooding ocurred). I didn't realize it was going to be so severe. We had some bad flooding last month when three nor'easters came through, but nothing like this. I stayed too long. I just found out that I need to buy a new computer. My six-year old laptop is finally starting to go senile on me. I've been having a lot of problems with it for the last few months and now the keyboard needs replacing. Apparently, my F1 key is stuck depressed and it continually keeps opening up Windows help and support pages and not letting me close them. It uses up all of my CPU to run these things and so I can't do anything else on it. I'm somewhat mad because I called a computer support company and they at first thought that it was a virus. They recommended that I wipe the entire system clean to get rid of it. So, I lost all of my stuff b
