An acrylic painting from high school. This depicts the statue "Life" that Richard Rahl carves in "Faith of the Fallen".
The proportions look off mainly because of the angle I had to take the digital picture at. Otherwise, this was my first attempt at painting something other than a landscape and I believe it turned out well.
Yeah, the fifth book was one I particularly enjoyed as well. Have you finished the series? I thought that it was a very good ending. I have "Wizard's First Rule" picture as well. I've been meaning to draw more Sword of Truth pictures.
What did you think of it? I didn't know how he would end the series. To tell the truth, I was somewhat worried because I could see him writing a sad ending.
I liked the ending. It tied off most of the loose ends, kept people in charecter and everyone got what they deserved. The only thing bugging me is Shota's phropecy.......
Yeah, he didn't talk much about how to solve the problem of future children between Richard and Kahlan. I'd wondered about what would happen, seeing as D'Hara needs a male heir...Maybe he'll write an epilogue short story.

This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
